Author Derek Landy Visits Cabra to Kick Off Book Week 2012

Acclaimed Irish children’s author Derek Landy will visit Cabra College on Saturday 18th August to help celebrate CBCA Book Week for 2012. The Children’s Book Council of Australia coordinates this celebration of books and reading which in its 67th year is the longest running children’s festival in Australia.

Derek is best know for his fabulously popular and darkly humorous Skulduggery Pleasant series. He will be at the College for a much anticipated talk and book signing. Tickets, though free are I’m afraid all totally gone. If you have yet to secure one you will just have to read about the event on this blog. Sorry.

Derek is touring Australia and New Zealand at present and makes a welcome detour to South Australia for this exclusive event thanks to Pages and More Bookshop Glenelg and his most excellent publishers Harper Collins.
